L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University is the only young university from Kazakhstan entered the QS Top 50 Under 50.
ENU is located in Astana, the fast growing capital city of Kazakhstan, in the heart of Eurasia.
ENU is a member of Eurasian Association of Universities, Association of Asian Universities, STARNET, Turkic Universities Union, Network University of CIS countries, University of Shanghai Organization.
ENU offers 93 Bachelor’s programs, 99 Master’s degree programs and 40 PhD programs in: Engineering, Natural Sciences, Art & Humanities Social Sciences Physical Sciences at 13 faculties.
ENU actively participate in state program “Development of education hub in Central Asia” and nowadays host more than 3% of international students from 25 countries of the world.
ENU is working on developing services for international students therefore WELCOME center is at their disposal.
ENU has adapted and actively promotes the Bologna principles of academic mobility among faculty and students. This open policy of integration into the world educational arena has enabled ENU to send its students abroad for study at leading universities and to host students from Europe, Asia and North America.
Our students have opportunity to study in China, Germany, France, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russian Federation, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, USA, etc.

The main priority of the university is development of state-of-the-art scientific technologies, including alternative energy, biotechnology, information technology, nanotechnologies and space technologies.
Research is carried out in 30 research divisions. The scientific works of researchers can be found in international journals indexed by Scopus and Thompson Reuters.
2 Journals of ENU have been included in Scopus Eurasian Mathematical Journal and Eurasian Journal of Mathematics and Computer Applications.
ENU is oriented toward the development of entrepreneurship skills of talented students; thus, the Start-Up Zone was opened especially for those who are ready to make their ideas and projects come true.
